This not for profit family-friendly event celebrates the classical guitar community of New Zealand by creating a central place of learning in New Zealand. The Taranaki Classical Guitar Summer School is jam packed with workshops, masterclasses and ensembles designed to improve both your guitar playing and appreciation. This week is perfect for any guitarist from a Grade 2 level of playing and up, and is not suitable for the absolute beginner.

Registrants are given many opportunities to play in front of audiences. In addition to teaching, the beautiful New Plymouth will come alive to the sounds of a diverse line-up of entertainment featuring the best of the national and international classical guitar.
