ROD CAPPER
Rod has been building guitars for more than 35 years. He began from the inspiration of the work and guitars of Miguel Rodriguez and Daniel Friederich. When he was 16 years old he built his first guitar. He continued to study the guitar and developed a strong interest in construction, the variety of materials that could be used and the effect they had on the sound that could be achieved.
Rod's developed expertise using a unique blend of science, intuition and engineering, produces a fine instrument that is being played in different parts of the world. Rods concert instruments are now made with an adjustable neck to enable easy action height adjustments. There will be special prices on all guitars and guitar supports at the Taranaki Festival.
